We provide an opportunity for caregivers to have short-term RESPITE relief, in a place of belonging, growth and empowerment. We understand that every person is unique, which is why we offer a personalized approach to care. This includes specialized care, such as medical support, during our programs. Our staff are highly qualified, experienced and trained in supporting our children, youth and young adults with varying medical, physical and development disabilities including Autism and Down Syndrome.

At Respite Care Centre, we provide specialized respite services for children, youth and young adults with disabilities, complex medical needs and behavioural support needs.
Our team understands that caring for a child with complex needs can require aditinal knowledge, preparation, patience, and support. Our respite professionals are experienced in working with children who may require medical care, behavioural support, mobility assurance, personal care, communication support, or close supervision.
We work closely wth families to understand each child’s unique needs and create a safe, supportive, and engaging respite experience

Respite care refers to short-term care provided to those who require support, allowing parents or guardians, a break allowing them time to rest, or attend to personal needs.

Day Camps
We run our camps during the following: weekends, PA day, march break, holidays, and summer months.
Medical support is available during camps.
Hours: 8 am to 4 pm
(half and full days available) -

Respite Care Centre also provides in-home respite services throughout Greater Sudbury.
Our experienced respite workers can come to your home and provide individualized support in a familiar and comfortable environment. In-home respite can help reduce the stress and travel involved in accessing care while giving families the opportunity to take a break, attend appointments, work, spend time with other family members, or simply recharge.
Whether your child requires support with complex medical needs, personal care, mobility, communication, sensory needs, or challenging behaviours, our team works with your family to understand their individual needs and provide compassionate, respectful care.
