Ashlee Lachapelle

My name is Ashlee and I am the CEO & Founder of Respite Care Centre powered by Respite Nurses Agency.  I am a nurse by trade and active member of my community. I was an honored finalist for Young Entrepreneur at the 2023 Bell Business Excellence Awards, but my biggest achievement is being a devoted and loving mother to my children and caregiver to my adult sister.  This is where my passion and the heart of my company stems from. Creating person-centred environments where people of different abilities can come to be supported, while their loved one’s focus on their own self care, is what drives me. I understand first hand how important it is to have qualified and specialized staff caring for the people you love most in this world. That is what we strive for at the Respite Care Centre. I want to, “let our respite care be your self-care”.

Sara Kitlar Pothier

Hello, Bonjour, my name is Sara. I have spent the past 10 years building meaningful relationships within the disability community. This includes as an organizer and program creator, director, chair and member of different community and provincial organizations as well, as an autism advocate and ally. I am able to draw on my educational background in Psychology and Social work, volunteer and work experience and personal life, to create individualized and specialized programs that address the many diverse support requirements of Autistic people and those with disabilities. Being a Mom to an Autistic child myself, I bring a unique set of skills and experiences that I am able to share, while connecting with and helping guide families through the education system, government programs and supports. Ensuring that you and your family members are properly supported is always my main priority.
